If today you lost everything, what would you have?
I know, that doesn’t make sense right? But think a minute. What if you are not defined by what you have in Possessions, Power, or Prosperity? What if you were stripped down to the very essence of who you are? Your character, your family, your relationships with others and with the Creator. Is that enough to get you through? Would you truly have anything left? Just a thought.
As we near Election time in our country, remember that many of our founding fathers found themselves in this spot. All material possessions taken, power gone, many struggling to see the sun come up the next day. Could you do it? Could you remain faithful to your principles and have the faith it would turn out OK ?
